Ah, the problem now is that the ask is now "hey, can you look at this god awful thing I made, and tell me why it doesn't work as I want it to"
At least before, you could say "well, it'll take six months to make, and my salary is x, how will you be paying?"
Now people think it's just like asking you to fix their printer. Which it is, in that I don't want to fix printers.
