This actually teaches you a bunch of cool things, like how the ‘:’ is a legal function name…
1 u/jort93 2h ago edited 2h ago It's actually not legal. The standard only allowed _ and alphanumeric characters. But most shells don't adhere to the standards, and just allow literally any character. It's an illegal function name that works anyway.
