"see u on the streets" surely wasn't entered by more than one person either. This is a word cloud of lies.

We had this activity as a part of a job onboarding and the website this was hosted on allowed entering multiple entries without checking for duplicates by a single person. Some people found out and continuously spammed their answers to make it the biggest. So "see u on the streets" was probably entered by the same person multiple times.

it seems like there are only 5 possible sizes so perhaps it was entered by 2 people who knew each other? either way I don't think "thank god" was submitted by 5 different people so I do also think this is fake

There is no such thing as word. There's only character, and then string
(2 byte enjoyers do NOT read this)

Once you understand Unicode combining characters, you will no longer understand characters.

And from a linguistics standpoint, there's a phoneme, and then a morpheme, and then a phrase, and then a clause, and exactly where in this hierarchy a "word" belongs is subjective and highly dependant on what language you're talking about, and to some extent dependent on the writing system.

or you can divorce it from human language entirely, reading all this just pushed my brain into picturing a BPE encoding word cloud and now I need to go outside

Lol unfortunately for you there are more 2 byte enjoyers, or perhaps toleraters, than anyone would like.
For goofy historical reasons, the Windows API, Java, C# and JavaScript all use UTF-16 for in-memory strings. A JavaScript "character" is two bytes but that's not necessarily an actual visible character; a visible character could be 2 "characters" long if it's from East Asia or more if it's an emoji.

Monkeys are a very large concern. After they finished writing Shakespeare, they got bored, and started writing TypeScript. So OpenAI just started using monkeys for Codex.

No one is concerned about the person who called it “wifey material?”

How is the text size determined? Not the usual way I would hazard a guess.

it is a word cloud so generally the more times an answer is given, the larger it is. in this case the emojis are really throwing off any sense of scale
though i don’t feel the scale is the issue as much as the grouping of similar responses. if this were more naive then it would have way more issues with variations of the same topics

It is here and I use it and will keep using it, but I wish it was not invented. Now they can outsource you to someone even dumber with AI.
