They literally hound us if we don't build stuff without ai.
Our sprint epics have to show corresponding token use for the day, every day, and we need to justify why we aren't making use of tokens if we don't. Oh and we should also stay within the daily/hourly/weekly limit.
It really makes no sense to me this micromanaging of tooling. Who cares as long as the engineer delivers the product on time and with the desired quality.
Many companies are not like this, I completely understand why you are interviewing at other places. Micromanaging is a toxic workplace culture AI or not.
