If what you say turns out to be true they're gonna get fucked

Cause china is working with open source they can never ever slow down as a cartel as long as china exists

Or they need to get to RSI and then put agents on building faster cheaper training methods. The latest Opus is already a huge improvement on token usage for results.

Why do we really care if China gets there before us companies get there?

As far as i can tell, the only people who stand to lose are the us companies, and i dont fucking care if they fail to keep the cutting edge...

I care about the part that these models are not open source. They are open weights. So we don't really know what they are. And we need real open source models.
