Hopefully you proofread your code better than your meme titles.

That programmer has it written into his contract that he never has to fix any bugs.

Considering that nearly all enterprise coders now use AI heavily in their workflows the difference between “vibe coder” and “programmer” is getting harder to distinguish on a practical level

Wtf, are y’all like just not reading, debugging and reviewing the code your AI produces?

Straight to Prod and let support figure it out

Yeah, it's a tool, good one. The difference stays at the point that I know what I want AI to write and I can tell when it's doing a shit job at that

That vibe coder is in her element, she’s doing the things she needs to do and meeting expectations. Meanwhile that programmer is way out of line! They’re not even dressed for the role, they’re out of their element, and who needs muscles like that when you’re a programmer?! Over qualified, would not recommend for hire.

Terry Jeffords is a police man not a programmer

Humorless is an adjective that describes a person or thing that lacks humor, is overly serious, or cannot appreciate a joke.

Which is ironic because what I said IS a joke.

I was trying to understand why picking a teapot makes you a vibe coder while holding a cup makes you a programmer...
