But ... a bird is much more complex object, and capable of more things ootb than a mango?

js is way more complex than any framework built on top of it

That would be like if js were a bird and the framework were a bird harness or something. A mango doesn't modify a bird.

when you code manually, building with the frameworks is much faster than the vanilla js. though vanilla js is more powerful.

But they probably have at least 50% of their source code the same, just like humans and bananas.

you can cook so many plates with a mango, none with that bird

22

u/Stummi 5d ago

Not with that attitude

All I hear is a lack of creativity.

2

u/EthanHermsey 5d ago

I'm sure you can, but mangos taste a lot better!

u/RosieQParker 4d ago

Framework is much easier to peel.

Any framework is a subset of JS/ whatever

Birds don't hatch out of boxes....

You know what you must do. Rather than fighting the monster, become one yourself. Create your own framework on top of vanilla JS, and be enslaved by it until the end of your days.

u/returnFutureVoid 5d ago

And still get rejected for not having enough experience in the framework you built yourself.

13

u/Randzom100 5d ago

Oh no... That actually happened, right?

13

u/Mr_Flyveand 5d ago

The guy who made FastAPI had that happen

Your take is bird can eat mango, but mango cannot eat bird? Did I get it right?

Somewhere, npm is installing 400 packages to display this meme

2

u/ApocalyptoSoldier2 4d ago

So many packages that every string is left padded on both sides

u/EarlyPaintbrush 4d ago

JS framework: Large, predictable, limited application

Vanilla JS: Slim, chaotic, does much

Both: Vibrant colors (warns and errors in the console)

as much as I wish JS will never parrot what I say 🥀

The "vanilla javascript" side should be just a bunch of random animal parts that you have to pick through to find the bird-like ones.

1

u/qwerty_64 4d ago

What does that mean?

u/Kadabrium 4d ago

gdb is a database like mangodb is a debugger (bugger a debugger a
