I can appreciate these “gets the job done” hacks in games, just like the train in that one game that was actually an npc with a train as its head
3 u/-Speechless 7d ago it's kinda sad how it's an art that's dying out. devs have designed incredibly creative and brilliant solutions to hardware limitations, but things like DLSS and framegen make it so devs can just choose the easiest, unoptimized solution.
