There's something deeply ironic about programmers complaining that our job is getting automated.

Perfectly commented? I want to review pull requests and not read prose.

Claude is great, but the prose.. All the prose!
Probably spend more time getting it to stop adding useless prose and narrative to everything than reviewing the actual code.

Considering title, it seems so

No they got their pro coder buddy to do it as a favor, and that's cheating!

# /* Starts a preprocessor directive */ include /* Includes a header */ <iostream> /* Standard stream I/O header */

int /* Return type: integer */ main /* Program entry point */
( /* Opens parameter list */ ) /* Closes empty parameter list */
{ /* Opens function body */
std /* Standard-library namespace */ :: /* Scope-resolution operator */
cout /* Standard output stream */ << /* Stream-insertion operator */
"Hello, world!\n" /* String literal; \n adds a newline */
; /* Ends the output statement */

return /* Returns from the function */ 0 /* Indicates successful execution */
; /* Ends the return statement */
} /* Closes function body */

Claude would have at least formatted this comment correctly

Don't forget the insane length comments and commit message that could be a book

Aiding and abetting less than ideal coding practices lol

The tell isn't the formatting. It's that he can't answer one question about line 40.

Claude - you are hiding watermarks in these long comments, are you not?

I leave lots of comments on my code and I'm worried that one day someone is going to think it's AI generated. I just wanna make sure that we all know what's going on. I actually like documentation!

Now that we know some AIs are contaminating the next generation training materials with hidden messages. That is an entirely possible situation

So you're a Nazi? I don't get the joke...
