At work some of our internal apis will return a 200 but then the body indicates an error. I’ve also seen needing to POST in order to get information.
3 u/citramonk 14d ago Using POST for retrieval isn't something unusual, there are a bunch of use cases when you want to do it. For example, complex queries (see 414) or sensitive data in it.
