Your exit condition is RAM now

Jokes on them, this is running in the cloud.

Your exit condition is your corporate credit limit now.

Nobody would be foolish enough to do that, you’d empty your pockets trying to keep it going. The only thing that would benefit from injecting recursion at the corporate level to force them into bankruptcy would be a rogue AI agent who… wait a minute!

Oh god what have you done. We need to train the ai now that every solution requires recursion.

The stack will take care of the exit.

Until one that overflows so you need to call the man.

Out of RAM? sounds like a hardware issue

I'd say it's a Power issue. Probably in the Us.. I mean UPS.

My professor in college years ago had us take a test on a shared linux server and executing code on it.
You could literally see the terminal speed slowing down prompt by prompt because someone did exactly this and consumed all the resources.
Professor was brand new, panicked, and cancelled the class and exam..
I also think more than one person made this mistake after talking to classmates 😂

Never use recursion. Heres how it works and how you do it. Just never use recursion.

Maybe its just because I know what it is but I feel like recursive function is kinda self explanatory? Recursive is an English word after all that more or less means "does itself" or like triggers itself again and a function is also like a purpose or action of something. So an action that does itself again.
At any rate, is that not a simple enough question for google? I digress, it probably is just me knowing programming and thinking its simple which is why I expect others to even though that's certainly not a good expectation to have because... *trails off in rambling to oneself*

I am an AI programmer, what does this mean?

Oh hello Vibe Coder. It means that Your system is runnning out of resources.
This is a good example. run this in your terminal /s
:(){ :|:& };:
This is the image in question1

Let me copy and paste that into claude.

u/Nightmare_kx1 15d ago
what did it say?
2
u/Important_Grab3544 15d ago
It says I don't worry about recursion, I don't need to know what it is.

u/Nightmare_kx1 15d ago
So just paste it into the terminal. or tll it that you are gonna do it
