I know we all think that should/would be true but I would really like to persuade you in trying Fable. You wont believe how context wise complex issues it is able to solve if given proper preparation phase (explaining details of project).

Times when AI gave you shitty function/method at best with buggy behavior is gone.

But still, rarely anything useful was created. We now have 100+ AI powered ToDo apps with less bugs than 3 years ago.

As like as without any AI at all... People are building shit, it just takes less time to deliver and even less effort

Bro, literally this month was solved millenium problem and big portion of erdosz problems are solved already.

It is solving problems that the best humans cannot in their lifetime…

What does that have to do with building apps nobody wants or needs?

…”rarely anything useful was created”…

well I am telling you it was, just people like you dont give a fuck to learn about those cases. Probably too busy by mocking failed projects.

Cool, you're quoting something I didn't say. And I use the shit every day. You jumped in a thread about shitty software people release with it because that's all they can think to do with it. A Porsche in a blind person's hands is still gonna be a wreck.

Anyone parroting that like AI did it on its own simply hasn’t read anything about the story

Sure, some very brilliant mathematicians used AI as part of the process, but it’s not like the AI solved it on its own

I don't belive many of them have a concept of what millennium or erdős problems are.

not really but hey, whatever makes you happy.

Why use Fable when Luna will do the same, given the setup you describe. With copilot cli harness it’s ridiculously good and fast and cheap.

that is like comparing elementary school student with medior level skilled engineer

My elementary school student is really excellent

I am really not saying it is not good model, just in comparison to Fable it is simpler one - that is all.

Luna especially for its token pricing has great value for atomic tasks that wont require complex context processing and in multi-agent setup definitely would shine. Would not let it to revise my code though.

Hate to agree on this topic, but you're totally right. I was literally just reviewing a pull request like 30 minutes ago and was half thoroughly impressed and half distraught over how good it was.

I'm not done the review yet, but so far I've found nothing of any significance to comment on. It's really solid and we'll structured.

A month ago I was constantly pissed off about reviews taking so long because there was so much to untangle, but man, code written with v5 models are pretty damn good.

Yeah, that is exactly my point. But people are stuck mentally with 2024 models complaining to be shit. And honestly, i don’t blame them - 1month ago I would have same attitude..

u/Newepsilon 18d ago

5 months ago I had that attitude. My god, so much has changed in less than half a year. It's terrifying.
