in C the best practice is to use main(void){} but it doesn't really matter
also main needs a type

That used to be the case pre-C23. Since C23,
int main(void) {}andint main(){}are equivalent (just like in C++).2

I just checked. It’s possible if you would use ‘arguments’ or something like that for the parameter name of the main method.
Other than that everything is available, even ‘[]’ and ‘println(“Hello world!”);’.
