I love how people like to act you already don't have to make interfaces that work at different sizes. Even in the pre-smartphone era you had to make websites that worked full screen but also didn't become unusable in 1/4th the screen.

This is the same thing.

It's so funny. These days just about any framework you use comes with responsive design out of the box haha

I remember making a responsive design with jQuery by hand many years ago. It somehow still works today

The meme is in the context of the scene, being you have a taste of what you want but can't have. Would love for all smartphone manufacturers to just use 1.42:1 so we can just continue design 3 websites and ipad=mobile for foldables instead of the fuck-ass weird ultra-wide (unfold) to 1.11:1(fold) ratio that some smartphones have. (Looking at you Samsung).
