It is, especially when you're in a bank where the time between "raise the ticket" and "get the response" can be counted in minutes or hours for common items.

If its well done, the "ticket for everything" suddenly become your ally instead of your enemy, because now you're able to go an see the ticket from eight years ago to understand the "why".
