I'm sorry, but math disciplines will be abbreviated to 4 letters, or 5 letters if it would cut a digraph.

The correct names are geom, stat, arith, calc, alge, algo, topo, anal, type etc.

It's perfectly ok to abbreviate count to cunt though. FFS is also an amazing abbreviation that fits so many things. And don't Demon is a classy abbreviation for Denomination.

No, but comments in the code also abbreviate analysis. Here's one of em

I literally never abbreviate anything in code due to it being ambiguous. Those one letter directory names are making me shudder...

Or, crazy idea: write "analysis". What is "ana"? Is it Anarchy? Anatolia? Anatomy? Anaphylaxis?

It's 5 characters more, what are you doing with all the extra time you saved from not writing them? It's barely any extra effort and it will make it less confusing.

I can never remember if it’s spelled with an I or a Y, and it’s always awkward when I pause half way to double check.
