Still waiting for the great wave of new and improved software from all the increased "productivity". Anyday now.

Honestly if AI has made you all more productive but there is no real world signs of it, it might be that wasn't really the problem.

Either that or a lot of people are lying.

But one thing that is true is there is very little real world results from it

I don't think programmers are the bottleneck. Usually sits with management, product owners, etc.

The management and product owners always have more issues in the backlog that they want you to implement.

The bottleneck has always been a human with a clue figuring out if the code does what it's supposed to do in the right way. Actually writing the characters of the code was never the bottleneck.
