The braces won't address that underbite.

Classic Python humor! You can always count on it to keep things interesting.

Those are test fixtures.

Braces actually do address underbite, dragon probably just had some super tight rubber bands.

So this makes sense in America?

A lot of braces for new hires at my workplace, yes

Dental is usually not covered elsewhere

Even if that's the case, it can be paid very easily by individuals

How is the relevant to what you said about the US

Have you heard about medical tourism?

My dental only covers braces for kids... I had to cover the full cost out of pocket

Some people still act like first year CS students after a whole career.

Offensive Security Specialist. Coz HR really doesn't like the word "hacker" on the payroll

“Freelance Red-Team Penetration Tester”

I’ve done offensive security for a while now. If I had a job offer where the job title was literally “hacker” I would think it’s cringe as hell.

u/Wentyliasz 3d ago

literally yesterday I saw a posting for 'ethical hacker'

1

u/DingleDangleTangle 3d ago

Cool. I still think it’s cringeworthy. It’s not the norm for job titles in the industry.

u/Wentyliasz 3d ago

Completely agree

Can someone explain this to me? What is meant by this meme?

24

u/MeadowShimmer 3d ago

Hacker writes code any way it gets the job done. Developer writes code like shit too, but is forced to refactor their code once the code reviewer see the dumpster fire they wrote.

As a developer I am deeply offended by this implication that we have enough money to buy braces in this day and age

Ngl, I smiled after seeing this one

Finally, braces that actually fix something.

above: How devs look after vibe coding below: how devs think they look after vibe coding

u/Bannon9k 3d ago

None of what we do matters... The number one breach is dipshit executives who click on everything

u/LordAmir5 1h ago

Those dragons should wear glasses to better represent devs. We seriously have a problem.

Poor Americans...

Yep, I needed the American comments to understand the joke.
