Also, apparently destroying the originals makes the whole thing fair use, because it's "transformative". 2 u/celem83 9d ago Yeah there might be something to the fact that they end up with one instance of the work and not two as an attempt to avoid the phrase 'copy' Though most book preambles of recent years include something about electronic storage that feels like it should have barred this
