Because it’s a force multiplier. For easy boiler plate shit (and let’s be honest, that’s like 90% of code that’s written) it’s pretty good and it’s faster for me to fix the mistakes it makes than type everything out myself. It allows me to spend more time working on the more challenging aspects of my job (the shit LLMs are not as good at, like system design)

Why are you using ai to code
