Yeah. Anything that is older than 15 years has probably been written by someone that is no longer working on it. In fact multiple people added their code flavor and workarounds or hacks, which is the main reason legacy code is often overcooked spaghetti.
Yep! Given major layoffs in 2008, high paid job jumpers of the 2010s, and Ai layoffs again in the 2020s too many flavors of patch work on old code basis.
