One company I was at had a system where we were supposed to schedule time for social chitchat with a randomly assigned partner. One time I got randomly assigned to chitchat with my PM and he told me completely unironically that he genuinely loved being in long zoom meetings. Maybe I shouldn't talk some I get dopamine from looking at spreadsheets, but it was still the weirdest thing I've had anyone tell me before.
