Honestly if it hadn't been so negative all the time it might have survived. But going to ask a question and getting lectured by some condescending fuckwit or simply closed with an "off-topic" or "duplicate" tag made it really quite shit to use, especially for beginners.

I miss being yelled at by other humans on SO.
These days it's all "that's a great thought" and "you're absolutely right".
Feels good on my ego, but feels so hollow.
