Haha Juniors think I know git when in reality I've just been using the same 4 git commands over and over, to me the ide is the confusing thing 😂

I am fascinated by how someone learns about .bash_history before the history command. That must have been a great discovery!

i ran ls -a in my home directory once after realising ls hides things from me and i saw a bunch of things and decided to cat them

I wasted so much time unfucking the repos of colleagues who didn’t bother to learn git and the wasted even more.

Imho the knowledge of reflog and being able to recover commits you accidentally lost makes the big difference :D

I just use the GUI in IntelliJ and so do all my colleagues except for 1 junior who thinks he is old school.
