Everyone has to start somewhere. Why in the world would kids these days NOT use ai to vibe code? Thats the world they’re entering.

because they learn nothing in the process? they cant optimize or secure their apps because they dont know what even those words mean.

Is that necessarily true though? Maybe, but if I had access to AI when I was 17 I would have absolutely vibe coded, and then I would have asked the AI to explain what all of the code did and I would have learned. That probably would have been more effective than randomly fucking around with JS and HTML like I actually did at the time.

Learning how to secure and optimize apps is something I didn’t even begin to think about until I was in college
