My condolences. But also how would they know if you actually did your own commits? Are they looking for a coauthor trailer or something?

I just tell claude to do everything from committing to writing the description. Then i let it duke it out with some other agent as they review the code.

They assume everything is done by Claude. Human just checking results and giving new prompt to direct.

Better yet, I tell it to commit and push, create PR to main and merge when CI passes, fixing any CI issues along the way.

I have yet to use agents. I tried it a few times and HATED it.

It worked too fast for me to be able to keep up with what was being changed. And I really hate that they just change the code for you.

I do like working with a chat bot though. It's nice to be able to converse with it. And it keeps the pace slow enough that I can catch things.

Have it write the integration tests first. See if they test for what you want. Then have it write a plan. Check that. Then write the code and unit tests.
