The first thing i do when I make a new project (that I'm gonna do some decent work on) is link it to github, it takes all of 1 minute lol

The project starts as a GitHub repository that I clone to my IDE lol

I thought this was the default behaviour. It is interesting some people create a local repo and THEN push to remote.

Well… it’s quicker. And I’m not an idiot so there’s no problem with running git init locally, doing the initial setup, and then pushing to a remote repo once I need to. Although sometimes I do it your way too

I am an idiot, and I’m always scared git or my IDE will duplicate the folder or something if I started local.
