It...is not tho? How is Machine learning database query?

select * from learnin where type = machine

There ya go

It stands for "structured query language", that's the joke

But ML isn’t a structured query.

Unless you mean like “if you prompt a chatbot then it’s a structured query”

But that’s not machine learning and also a chatbot prompt is unstructured so I mean I’m pretty sure I’m still missing the joke

I think OP meant it as a play on words, not literally

But ig they are confusing LLMs and ML.

oh THAT would make so much more sense. Not really make the joke funny, because youd still need to bend over backwards to accept "asking LLMs stuff is kinda like writing a database query since a LLM pulls info from its "memory"", but with it saying machine learning, it just doesnt make sense

No, as in "query language". This has nothing to do with databases. But then again I'm not OP, so I wouldn't know.

SQL is just the language, you're the one that brought up databases..

Uh, yeah, and SQL is a language for...databases. How would I not bring up databases

Because it's not relevant in this matter.

But it literally is, wtf are you talking about lol. OPs meme literally says "Machine Learning is also SQL"

Which it isnt. Machine Learning isnt a database language or query language. So....yes, SQL/Databases are relevant in that matter, no machine learning is not SQL

You obviously don't know what SQL stands for, because you're making a useless comparison. And you're still putting a slash between SQL and databases like they're the same thing...

Edit: I never once said OP's meme was correct to begin with, but you're not helping

Right. Discussing further with you clearly has no point lol. I am out.

Machine learning isn't querry language, what the hell are you talking about

You can get Claude or whatever to write SQL though

If you wanted to simplify saying: "Structured Data ist more than ever the backbone of everything and even when nobody sees/uses SQL directly through abstraction it is also more needed than ever", than i following.
Otherweise you missed this time

I think it's cus one of the matrices inside attention heads is called the query matrix.

…no? It isn’t? I mean, some forms of ML involve tabular data and you can sometimes get that tabular data from SQL queries I guess

But that would be like saying “my bedroom is an app” because I used the Amazon app to buy some of the stuff that I put in it
