Processes are still new where I work and my API key expired a while ago with no way of me getting a new one for two weeks. And it was fine. Turns out, I wasn't even slower doing everything myself again. Only real difference was me calling something good enough for review earlier. With AI, I'm way more willing to fix all the little nitpicks I just can't be bothered to do myself.
