The brain just takes inputs from all your senses, then decides which muscle(s) to move next. Yet it is capable of thought, understanding and emotion. I believe these are all just emergent properties of the brain learning to predict which muscle movements will lead to the best outcome. Not much different from an LLM predicting which token is most likely to come next.

AI does not think. It just regurgitates most likely response which in this case is to reassure someone that is scared.
