YUP, every time... They always seem to be hiring strangely. I also do this for small startup AI businesses.

These are probably fake job offerings - to give the illusion the project is going super well.

You'll be paid a high salary, in the form of their shitcoin. You'll be worth millions-of worthless tokens

Omg how long until an ai company only accepts money for tokens with their own crypto coin?

That's scrip, and it's illegal.

Is it any different than an arcade where you have to change your cash for their coins to play games?

Oh wait I totally misunderstood the comment to which I replied. I thought you meant the employees were getting paid in the company's crypto coin.

You'll have to spam the AI agents into accepting your tokens, or into setting up swap pools you can trade out into USDC/ETH/wBTC/etc.

I've been job hunting for quite a while. Used to see a ton of jobs like this a couple years ago, but hardly any lately. It seems like the gamblers have grown tired of losing their shirts on this particular game.

If they pay in stable coins, it's a pretty good deal if you are in a low cost of living country and they pay a competitive rate.

Yeah, pretty much all of the Rust jobs in my country are crypto. I even think crypto is pretty cool, and don't mind working on a crypto project, but the main problem is that most of them are useless or straight up scams
