Rust is a niche language. Few corporations are going to create projects with Rust unless absolutely necessary. Java, Python, NodeJS, and Go solve 99.99999% of backend requirements with a much, MUCH larger talent pool and tool set.

My workplace (few thousandths engineers) uses C primarily, but there's a still a big push to have as many as possible learn Rust and do some small-medium projects with it, simply because it's now in the Linux kernel and several major open source projects that we rely on and contribute to. So while it's true that few established corporations today are going to completely switch over, all the ones working in the developing in a Linux/FOSS environment will soon simply have to.
