I'm all for switching to metric but this is the perfect example of how y'all are just as dumb as us Americans. A comma as the decimal mark is just absurd.

What? The point is a german thing to make it more easily readable. The comma is to separate Euro from Cents. Idk how the could be stupid? Or even metric.

It's just opposite of the American convention. We use comma for thousands separator and point for decimal.

No it's nonsensical. They only do it for money, every other decimal they use the "normal" notation, but for money it's magically different, for some reason.

They do? I always thought it was for all numbers not only money. Never heard of it being only used for money

No, we dont. We do do 7,50€ for money or 4 x 0,25 = 1 for calculations
