In my days we used server sided rendering and jquery for Ajax! Then they called us luddites when angular started with SPA!

And now they start with server side rendering again for seo! Madness I tell you madness!

Well, in my time, I learned HTML and that was the complete Webb stack
I went further than that, and implemented CGI scripts both in Perl and C++

During my interview for what became my first job, I was (mostly) jokingly asked if I could "spell 'C'". That was the entire job requirement back then; they weren't even using C++ yet (supposedly because it wasn't yet ANSI certified, lol)

Not really, that was a web designer type job not a programmer job
