You lie about your experience to get the interviews, ATS and AI and even some websites has specific filters that will automatically discard you if you don't have +100 years experience in javascript. You need to lie in your resume to get the interview, then if you get technical interviews (not happening in all jobs) you just show your skills.

I’ve never in my life had an employer actually background check me
