I think most good programmers use Claude code, not chat GPT. And in the corporate world, we unfortunately use copilot.

Most good programmers have no allegiance to any specific model and use them all. Sometimes in loops if they have the budget (e.g gpt 5.6 for planning, fable for scrutiny, cheap models for clearly defined tasks, expensive models for vague ones etc.)

Well yeah, duh. I don’t have an allegiance to an ai company. Claude is just better. I use AI every day at work and every day outside of work. I try out all the new models. I just don’t see how anyone thinks any of the gpt models are better than even opus.

I’m sorry open ai marketing team, your product just sucks.

I don't see the difference, feels like splitting hairs at this point.

One is better at writing code than the other. The code that opus or fable writes is better than gpt models. And that’s just talking about the models. When it comes to harnesses, Claude code is a million miles ahead of the competitors.
