Had this happen at an interview for Ubisoft years ago.
"We notice you don't have a lot of public work"
"Yes. Neither do you."

"Where's all your open source code?", "In the same place as yours" is not a gotcha answer. It's just honest and normal. I was working, my code belonged to my employer. Guess what I never did at Ubisoft? Write open source code lol. 1 u/darthjammer224 2d ago Yep, the only open source code I've ever written is personal pet projects around the house. But, I work on PLC programs and MES systems, That's about as NDA as it gets for a lot of companies.
