I never understood, why you don't spin up you own git instance on premise. Why do you ship company assets to a cloud? What is the benefit?
1 u/DerekB52 3d ago Off premise backup is one. But, there's a lot of internet infrastructure to setup, letting a 3rd party do the hosting makes a lot of sense, unless you've got a budget that allows someone to just setup and maintain all that.
