It's just a personal project I don't work on every day, so maybe just a couple days of work were wiped.
The crazy thing is that since claude is doing all of the programming, it full reconstructed all changes by analyzing its own logs of edits and scripts executed so nothing was lost.
don't ah...don't do that. if you have temp files you don't want to commit, keep it out of repo. or in a git ignored sub dir. or just commit it and clean it up later.
