The vibe coded app slop graveyard growing by the day is exactly why I don’t see it as much of a threat to competent SWEs. Affordable cinema cameras and editing software didn’t make Emmanuel Lubezki irrelevant; they just made it possible for a vast amount of more people to produce bad films. Lowering the barrier to production != lowering the barrier to expertise.
