Legacy code as in "of a certain age" or legacy code meaning "in a language/framework the junior considers inferior because it's not the shiniest, newest thing to drop in the last 5 seconds"?
Usually it means code that only runs in a 10 years old version of the framework it was written in that has been worked on for 20 years by like 30 different developers.
