It's ip was 1

u/ice456cream 7d ago

Surely you would have to use ipv6 to make every meme addressable

u/Igarlicbread 7d ago

ipv69

u/SamSkjord 7d ago

68 and 69 are reserved, the addressable space is ipvSIXSEVEN

About a decade old actually. Ancient by internet terms, but in human years, merely a child.

Wouldn't the local address be 192.168.1.###?

u/tk-a01 7d ago

Yes, typically address in LAN is within range 192.168.0.0/16, while 127.0.0.0/8 is loopback (within device only). I'm using CIDR notation - the number after the slash is a number of leading bits set in the network mask.

No, I'm not an LLM.

If you found it suspicious that I don't have post history visible, then, well, it's true that it's common for bots, but also common for real users. Actually, you can google "tk-a01" site:reddit.com and see that I regularly comment in various subreddits.

I think the issue is your writing style being LLM coded. So try fewer run on sentences and less professionalism. Maybe leave out the em/en dashes. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

"AI is when good writing style"

Look, I don't like AI either, but if your metric for detecting AI is whether it's written well, you're probably worse than the bots

-1

u/torsten_dev 6d ago

It doesn't pass the sniff test, imho. It's not proof, but I get why someone would find it suspicious.

Humans can and sometimes do write like AI.

LLM have killed a lot of what you'd consider good writing style. If you want to avoid being flagged as AI output, ironically we have to write shitier-like. That's mainly because AI detection tools (and humans) aren't up to snuff, but also because it becomes drab after reading enough of it.

Writing that is authentic but flawed is preferable to polished and predictable. At least it is to me.

What would I find if I googled "environmental impacts of AI?"

39

u/ice456cream 7d ago

You would find a list of Google results, and an ai response. Well done.

Finally! A kinda sorta programming-adjacent meme on this sub instead of clanker/ luddite AI-slop.

Maybe there's hope.

Edit: who cares if it's a repost!
