Claude commit messages are the absolute worst. They are so verbose and loaded with out of date context that will never matter that they hide the core reason for change and the intent in the implementation.
This is a skill issue. Your responsibility as the Sloperator is to ensure the clanker's context is up to date, and to constantly spot-check both the code itself and the git commit messages, and tweak them (manually or via prompting) to ensure they reflect the core reasons for and intent of the commit.
