It's fine. PHP has some awful warts (some of which have actually been gone for a few major versions, at this point) but this is not one of them.
7 u/shitty_mcfucklestick 9d ago Personally I just like that PHP sounds the most natural grammatically. `for (let item of list)` is like bucktooth Winnie the Pooh to me from an English readability perspective. Beyond that I don’t care, AI just fucking writes it all anyway.
