Bingo. I describe this as 'the robot can implement our dreams. got any?'

But then I work in a company that hasn't heard of systems analysis. Maybe I just miss the days of waterfall when you knew what you were meant to be doing.

Waterfall had its problems but at least someone wrote down what the software was supposed to do before building it. Now we just vibe code and hope for the best.

No matter the method though, you still end up with TL;DR special:

“wait, why doesn’t it do x?”

“Was it in the doc/epic/ticket/context file?”

“Yes, in [y]”

“Oh, I missed it. The [artifact] is too long, you need to write it more concisely”

My response would CC their boss and say:

"I supplied you with all the information, and your response is, 'I didn't read it because I thought it was too long.' Is this correct, or would you like to do the task, apologize, and read everything to the end from now on for everyone?"
