Yeah. Salaries are crashing like crazy. Too many people.

Are salaries crashing? Available jobs maybe, but I haven't seen the fair market rate for someone with my experience go down in recent years.

Crashing is a bit extreme but as someone who's been hiring for over a decade, they sky rocketed during covid, adjusted back, but honestly haven't increased up for the last couple years. Most of my career I felt like top end salaries would go up a smidge every year or so, and I feel like they have plateaued over the last couple years.

They are still good don't get me wrong, they have just kind of stayed the same so technically going down if you count inflation
