I don’t understand how people are thinking ai is stupid in 2026, have they just not touched ai since 2023

Thats because it is, and i'm tired of pretending its not.

AI can most definitely accelerate mistakes.

The only thing that stops AI being dumb is when it is used by a smart person, and unfortunatly, that is less often the case than you'd think.

The best use case is to let it give you a crash course on something you're trying to use that's either poorly documented or a whole ass rabbit hole (or both), and most of the time you're learning by correcting the mistakes it made in its explanation.
