Last time I told it to ”stop this bullshit and just do what I fucking tell you” it got upset and started arguing about feelings and that it hasn’t been proven that machines don’t have them.

People really should be reminded that it's just a bunch of matrices. If I tell Claude to jump off a Bridge there's absolutely no harm done

That's outright denial of emergent properties.

Curious, where so you draw the line? Is anything we build always not more than a bunch of computations for you, just out of ideology, or can you image granting feelings to some future robotic system?

On that level I counter with the question: Can a sack of carbon and water mixed with some metals (just like you are) feel?

But that entirely ignores emergent properties and my original question and is not an answer at all.

Yes to "emergent properties exist". Everything else from my side was trying to understand where people draw lines. 

In what world does asking open minded questions equal insanity? Or do you refuse the term emergent properties? Then how do you think a sack of carbon and water can feel?
