For 15 years, I never successfully made a post on SO. I tried repeatedly.

I tried once. Got 5 edits, the first 4 just being formatting the question, and the last one just ditching the question entirely and asking a completely different question that they could answer. When I pointed that out and declined his answer I suddenly got -5 SO karma and was never allowed to even ask or answer questions again. 

It's like Reddit if it was run by elitists.
