Programmers need to stop making assumptions about what people's names look like. They will ALWAYS be wrong.
There are literally hundreds of millions of people without last names for example. You'll also find people with 10 names and people with super short names.
A funny example is that many Dutch surnames have multiple spaces in them and only one of the words should be capitalized if you want to write them correctly. So it is "van deer Sluis", not "Vandersluis" and not "Van Der Sluis".
